Day 1: Kigali- Ruhengeri province.

You will be welcomed and depending to the time of arrival, you will have a city tour where you will visit Kigali Memorial Genocide center and the Karisoke Gorilla research center. You will have lunch on the way as we head to Ruhengeri province where you shall later be treated for dinner and an overnight at Gorilla view House.

Day 2: Volcanoes National park- Gorilla tracking

Have breakfast and start the Rwanda gorilla tracking safari with half a kilometer drive to the headquarters for briefing by the park officers and then head to the jungle for the sky mountain gorillas in Rwanda. You must have walk shoes, huts, insect repellents, sun screen, rain gears, bottled water and the food. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Gisenyi – Lake Kivu
Our tour guide will pick you from the hotel and transfer you to Gisenyi via Ruhengeri. A very interesting cultural activity in Ib’iwachu Village in Ruhengeri is a highlight you may wish to incorporate in your itinerary. While in Gisenyi, you may also wish to enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Kivu. Overnight stay at labella hotel.

Day 4: Climb Nyiragongo volcano
Climb to the crater of Nyiragongo (5-6 hours) following an impressive trail through a tropical rainforest, and then through the lava flows of 2002 and volcanic desert. Overnight stay at the crater rim with views of the lava lake.

Day 5: Descend from Nyiragongo Volcano back to Goma town for an overnight. Overnight stay at labella hotel.

Day 6: Gorilla tracking in Virunga national park (Park National des Volcans )

The Virunga national park is the only conservation area three taxa of Great Apes – Eastern Lowland Gorillas (Grauer’s gorillas), Mountain Gorillas and chimpanzees. Okapi, an antelope similar closer to a zebra and giraffe is also present in this park. other wildlife include savanna elephants, hippos and lions. Enjoy at least an hour in the presence of gorillas. Overnight stay at labella hotel.

Day 7: Transfer to Uganda –Bwindi impenetrable national park

After your morning breakfast at the hotel, you will be transfer to Uganda for a gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi the next day. Dinner and overnight at gorilla mist lodge.

Day 8: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park

Today you will start with an early morning breakfast. Later you will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before going for the gorilla tracking in the forest. Bwindi national park has got the highest concentration of gorillas in the whole world.  After the tracking, you will seat somewhere and eat your packed lunch. Later transfer back to the lodge for relaxing. Dinner and overnight stay at gorilla mist lodge

Day 9: Transfer back to Kigali airport

After the early morning breakfast, you will be driven back to Kigali international Airport to catch your flight.
